After the very successful record with "Danses romantiques", we are proud to present a further record with Gerhard Oppitz, this time with the title "Impressions romantiques". After the begin with two early Arabesques Claude Debussy follows his ballad, with which Gerhard Oppitz won once the contest "Jugend musiziert". As a reminder on this at clearaudio late released record Piano concert No.2 by Giuseppe Martucci with Gerhard Oppitz as a soloist, follows his famous and fantastic Notturno. The Character sketch "Am Kamin" of Peter Tschaikowskys piano circle "Die Jahreszeiten" sounds to finish the first record side. The second side starts with two arrangements of Schubert-dances by Franz Liszt. In his "Soirées de Vienne“ No. 6 and 7 there are famous piano dances by Schubert. The great Polka in A-dur of Bedrich Smetana lead over to the favoured Humoresque of Antonin Dvorak, with which the record with wonderful music of romantic end.
