The Unico DM is a dual-mono power amplifier using both valves and mosfets. It combines the sweetness and sonic purity of a valve input stage with a high power output stage to give complete control over any loudspeaker. Unico DM has also been designed for maximum versatility. It can be bridged from stereo mode that delivers 150 watts per channel to mono to give 500 watts, and can be used in a multi-unit system in which power linking and switching are taken care of automatically. Twin triode ECC82 signal valves are used in the input stage and give to DM its convincingly natural sound quality. The output stage employs two pairs of complementary mosfets per channel for a smooth and detailed performance.Balanced (XLR) and unbalanced input connectors are provided, with the possibility of simultaneous operation. In bridged mode (mono) either balanced or unbalanced inputs may be used as required.
